2015 has seen DSBS expand into Canberra with James Watson as the new Managing Director for DSBS ACT. DSBS are now engaged with the Shared Services ICT Department of the ACT Government working on projects with the ACT Health Directorate portfolio of work. The ACT Health Directorate is in the middle of implementing an Electronic Clinical Records system via a large number of projects across Community and Acute ACT Health services.
All services/projects are intended to replace the current way information is collected and most importantly share information via a single, centralised electronic clinical health record. The objective of implementing the ECR is to promote a patient-centric approach to delivery of services, and by doing this, improve the quality, safety and efficiency of the services delivered.
James is focussed on developing opportunities to expand DSBS services into more State and Federal agencies as well as offering our services to other Canberra based organisations that require assistance with their IT Strategy, Project Delivery and Talent sourcing services.
