DSBS were asked to provide a supply chain analysis and improvement service for an international mining company headquartered in Perth.
Identifying and collating inventory, maintenance and contract data across multiple systems allowed us to establish an understanding of the current state and scale of the opportunity for improvements.
We then placed a team tasked with identifying short and long term cost reduction opportunities across the supply chain and implementing them across the business. This included strategic sourcing changes, improved data capture and linkages across maintenance systems to reduce the stock requirements and measure the overall business improvements.
