EXCITING NEWS! 🎉🚦
Last night it was announced by the UK Minister for Transport, Michael Ellis, that Road Safety GB are making Arility available free to all UK primary students! 😁
That is 7 million more children able to learn road safety through the power of augmented reality!
Arility is part of an investment by the British Government through Road Safety GB where part of the £200k funding will carry out research into the effectiveness of augmented reality classroom based road safety education to determine if students can retain the knowledge learned and demonstrate the correct behaviours over a period of time.
CCCSF CEO David Gribble said after 30 years of keeping West Australian children safe, launching onto the international stage was an exciting expansion.
Road Safety GB Executive Director, Alan Kennedy, said Arility was an ideal tool for young children to experience various risky scenarios in a safe place, such as the classroom.
“Arility will be made available to every primary and junior school in the UK and therefore millions of children will have the opportunity to be involved in this new learning experience,” commented Mr Kennedy.
“The UK is three times the size of the Australian market so it’s exciting to have Arility seen in the UK as first to market, but with a proven product model,” DSBS Managing Director Ian Sloan said.
